Saved to Serve. I suspect the Salvation Army didn’t have whiskey decanters in mind when they started using that slogan, but it certainly serves well. Thrift stores are a fantastic source of interesting glass, and our local Salvation Army served up this bottle for me to save? That’s reaching a little maybe. In any event, now it’s part of a lamp. Other parts include: a diesel piston cup, a broken plow blade, straps made from copper sheet, and some test tubes for cut flowers or… pens? I’ll leave that part up to you, but in the meantime, this lamp is ready to serve.
