Time Zone Sweep

I take a lot of stuff apart in my shop. invariably when I do I find a component that I see a future for.  That was the case with this jeep head gasket.  I picked it off and immediately saw a clock.  I cut it in half, added some discs from an old hard drive and mounted it on a piece of elm from a tree that we cut down in our yard.  I used three fan control circuit  boards to hold the movements in place, and then hand bent brass rods for numbers.  Finally, I cut and etched glass plate for labels and the result is three time zones in one clock.  With continuous sweep clock movements, time marches on, but there are no clicks to drag you down.
