A friend gave me an empty Blanton’s Whiskey bottle because he felt bad throwing it into the recycling bin. I agreed that it was too pretty to be pitched, and immediately cut the bottom off. I secured the bottle to a pair of shocks from a small aircraft with an aircraft pipe clamp. I then ran the wiring through a section of copper tubing down to an espresso grinder burr mounted to an airplane rim and wired in a small rotary switch. The last drop is long gone, but the light lives on.
