Crank & Chain Lamp

One of the great aspects of working with discarded and junk material, is that every project is built on a foundation of unexpected and compounding connections. None of this stuff was ever intended to go together, and most of my materials are acquired by chance. I can only copy elements from prior work to the extent that I have more of parts I used before. This lamp is one of two that incorporates a motorcycle chain as the neck, but it may be the only thing I ever make that uses an aluminum crank set.
