More often than not, my projects go through a stall period. I get an idea or pick up a part that I see as something new, and then I get stuck. Sometimes because I’m not sure how to make it work the way I see it in my head, other times I’m can’t seem to find the right elements. On occasion however, I pick up a glass wine stopper, slide a broken awl into it, and I’m off to the races. An old jigsaw bracket, a section of a jeep ring gear, 16 piano tuning keys, a lawn mower head, and a bearing welded to a cut-up circular saw blade… It all came together stall free, and this flower left my shop ready to soak up the sun.
