Bottle Flower

Sometimes I start a project around one piece that I just can’t put down.  Other times, I look around my shop and think “I have got to get rid of some of this stuff.”  This flower falls hard into that second approach.  There’s a timing gear from a jeep engine, a trailer hitch ball, a brass air compressor filter, spring handles from a bbq pit, weed whacker crank shaft counter weights, office chair wheel pivots, the jaw from a jig saw, a brass fire alarm sprinkler, panels I cut out of wine/vodka bottles, a glass cup from old jeep fuel filter, a data plate from an espresso machine solenoid, and some kind of probe from a private jet. Man I have a lot of junk laying around.  All of those parts had been waiting to be used, waiting for the “right” project to incorporate them.  They got tired of waiting I guess, and so with a little help, they formed another little flower to stare up at the sun.
