Marble Top Spinning Table

I’m not a great fan of pink. My wife on the other hand is convinced it’s a great accent color. So when I brought home a pink marble top side table from my Great Grandmother’s house, my wife was insistent that it be fixed up and moved to our living room. I drug my feet for a while, but ultimately decided that I wanted to keep sleeping in the bed, and so fired up the welder. The legs are Model A Ford cam shafts with pivoting piston heads for feet. The support for the top is polished gas pipe, and is attached to the base with a pair of automotive grade bearings so that it can spin. Add in some brass pipe plugs and caps and it’s a pink I can live with.
